How to enable port 22 on a NAS for SSH connection
If you run ReclaiMe in NAS mode, but the software does not show a NAS device available for scanning,
most likely your NAS is not configured to allow SSH connection; typically port 22 is used for this.
For NAS devices from different manufacturers, the procedure of enabling the SSH port is different.
We have collected links to the tutorials for QNAP, Synology, Netgear and Asustor NAS devices.
If you are dealing with a NAS device from another manufacturer, search the Internet for the instructions.
Often on various technical forums, users ask similar questions and share solutions.
Once port 22 is opened for SSH connection, check that SFTP is also enabled; for NAS recovery with ReclaiMe you need to have both port 22 and SFTP enabled.
