Setting a PC for Data Recovery

Often the recovery process takes a long time. You can encounter a problem when your disks might shutdown and abort all the progress. To avoid this issue you should complete a few steps.

  1. Go to Start Panel and click Settings
    Start Panel
  2. Click System
    Start Panel
  3. Go to Power & Sleep Tab and click Additional power settings
    Start Panel
  4. Click Change Plan Settings next to the used plan
    Start Panel
  5. In this window set Sleep Mode to disabled (Never is chosen). Then click Change Advanced Power Settings
    Start Panel
  6. And this is our last step. Here we put after what time of being inactive our disk will be turned off. Here pick 0 just to disable any shutdown.
