ReclaiMe capabilities
ReclaiMe covers a wide range of applications, including but not limited to
- restore and view data from various disks (logical and physical, external and internal),
- recover and view data from memory cards of various devices (digital cameras, mobile phones, MP3-players, PDAs),
- recover and view data from USB thumbdrives (flash drives, also known as pen drives),
- work with the disk image files: create a disk image in the file (typically required in the case of physical damage to the media).
Filesystems
- FAT16, FAT32 recovery,
- exFAT recovery,
- NTFS recovery,
- Apple filesystems: HFS, HFS+, and UFS recovery when running on Windows. You need to attach your Mac storage device to a computer running Windows.
Partitioning schemes
- MBR (Primary/extended),
- GPT,
- LDM, incl. RAID1 and RAID5 with one disk missing,
- Apple Partition Map.

System requirements
- ReclaiMe works under:
- Windows XP, Vista, and Windows 7,
- Windows 2003 Server, Windows 2008 Server.
- In some cases, you may need additional equipment.
For example, if you are going to recover data from a memory card, it is better to use a standalone card reader device
(see six reasons to use card reader devices).
The evaluation version limitations
The only limitation of the evaluation version is that you can't save the recovered data. To save the recovered files and documents you need to purchase a license.
